Hindi rail teck , Good evening friends, I am Deepak Kumar , welcome to my channel " HINDI RAIL TECK " Following topic covered in this video. Fouling mark means the mark at which the infringements of fixed dimensions occurs where two railway lines cross or join one another. Fouling Mark is a point to the rear of a converging junction, such train must be to the rear of that point in order to ensure that any train moving on the other converging line can proceed without being obstructed. Purpose is to avoid collision between two trains on adjacent track. ( in between diverging / converging tracking rear t/in curve). It should be fixed at a point where the spacing between the tracks begins to reduce to less than the minimum as specified in schedule of dimensions (i.e. 4.72 Metre track centre normally). They are made up of stone or concrete blocks and painted in black and white. The easiest way to determine this point, is to literally place a wagon on two adjacent lines and then gently move them along to the nearest point (turnout), until they literally physically touch. Make a note of that 'point of impact' (POI). Having found the POI, move the wagons BACK along the tracks until they are a sufficient distance from each other so that they will not hit each other. Don't forget to include the couplers in this measurement, as they extend out beyond the ends of the wagons and can sometimes hit each other even though the wagon 'body' is further back. This 'safe' distance is usually 2-3 sleepers (ties) back from the POI. When you have decided that the distance is sufficient to ensure that the wagons will not hit each other, mark that location. That is where you should put your 'Fouling Point' sign #fouling_mark_in_railway Indian railway establishment- • Indian railway establishment Block instrument in Indian railway- • Block instrument in Indian railway Shorts video- • Shorts video Objective questions & answers for railway departmental examinations like station master, goods guard,TC,CC, RAILWAY GROUP B POST ETC - • Objective questions & answers for railway ...
