believe it or not, my friend and i had never played a single Halo game until 2022 when we decided to go through the Master Chief Collection together. we played Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and a large portion of Halo 3 as solo campaigns since we couldn't get co-op to work, but we stayed on a call together the whole time.
