In an ongoing effort to boost school enrollments and raise public awareness about government education policies, the ZEO Pulwama Gh Mohd Yatoo Sahab organized a vibrant enrollment drive today at Government Middle School Pulwama. The event was also graced by the presence of Cluster Head Principal GGHSS Pulwama, Mtr Shaista Draboo. The event also witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, students, and local community members, reflecting their collective commitment to shaping a brighter future for the youth. The drive commenced from GMS Pulwama and culminated at the Sumo Stand, weaving through the streets of New Colony and Dalipora. Parents of newly enrolled students also participated, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in education. Speaking on the occasion, ZEO Pulwama Gh Mohd Yatoo emphasized that such drives are crucial in spreading awareness about the government’s free education initiatives and encouraging greater enrollment in public schools. “These initiatives help inform the public about the benefits of enrolling their children in government schools, where quality education is provided free of cost,” the ZEO stated. GMS Pulwama is the top-performing school in the district, consistently bringing laurels not just to the zone but to the entire district,” she remarked. The drive’s impact was immediate and tangible, with over 50 new students enrolled on the spot, showcasing the event's success and the community’s trust in government schools.
