Previously as well there were parallel meetings of both alliances. As just days ahead of the second INDIA meeting The NDA had all of a sudden announced an NDA meeting which was attended even by Prime Minister Modi. However, the location for the INDIA meeting was Bengulru whereas the NDA alliance meeting took place in the national capital. While 38 parties attended the NDA meeting in the national capital, the leaders of 26 opposition parties were present at the INDIA meeting. Now let's discuss the possible reason behind the clashing of the dates. Whenever there are two important events taking place at the same time the first thing that happens is the media coverage gets divided. And it's very much clear which meeting will get more coverage from the mainstream.
