"Vertical Racing" is a Soviet three-part detective television film by Alexander Muratov, filmed in 1982 at the film studio. Alexander Dovzhenko based on the story of the same name by Arkady and Georgy Vainer. The first episode premiered on April 5, 1983. A similar situation is observed in another film about Tikhonov - "Visit to the Minotaur", only in it the role of Tikhonov's chief was played by Vladimir Samoilov.
