26 BANDED HONKERS ON OPENING DAY!! (INSANE GOOSE HUNT)

An opening day that we’ll talk about forever! After an awesome three days to kick off the season last year, we were stoked to get the invite back north by Travis Pilz to join the boys again this season. Tyler Maxon did a great job scouting this field, and everyone involved did their part in dialing in the hide. We loosely placed 40 V2FF (Fully Flocked) Canada silhouettes, and the magic unfolded not long after sunrise. We knew there were some banded birds mixed in this field, but we were all in shock after the first big group of the morning finished on the deck at 15 yards, and after the dust settled, every bird in the group was banded. By the conclusion of the hunt, we had 26 banded birds, with two of them having black bands.
