In this video I compare the ArcPro titanium fishing scissors against the popular Boomerang line cutter using heavy-duty lines that actually matter for saltwater fishing — including 100lb and even 500lb Kevlar cord. I did not expect this, but the ArcPro scissors cut through thick Kevlar way easier and cleaner than the Boomerang. With lighter braid and mono they both work fine, but once you get into heavy leaders and assist-hook cord, the difference is obvious. The ArcPro just slices through it, while the Boomerang really struggles. What surprised me most is how small the ArcPro scissors are compared to how much cutting power they have. Titanium blades, anti-rust for saltwater, and they stay sharp even after repeated cuts. The retractable lanyard is also super useful — no dropping tools overboard and it stays right where you need it on your bag or belt. The included microfiber towel is a nice bonus too for wiping hands or gear. I’ve used Boomerang tools for years and they’re great for light braid and everyday fishing, but if you’re doing jigging, surf fishing, or using heavy assist hook cord and thick leaders, the ArcPro is just the better cutter in my experience. Especially for the price, this thing is kind of ridiculous. If you fish saltwater and deal with thick line, this is one of those small tools that actually makes a big difference. 👉 Links to the tools in this video: ArcPro Titanium Fishing Scissors: https://amzn.to/4qSfdUg Boomerang Line Cutter: https://amzn.to/45u5ScA Heighten line cutter: https://amzn.to/4rfAxm9 🎣 More fishing gear reviews and tackle tests on the channel — subscribe if you want honest comparisons and real-world fishing use, not just desk reviews.
