WE OUTSIDE by Victoria Nguyen and friends My childhood feels like a long-lost friend that I’m grasping memories from. Growing up my mother rarely let me play outside with my friends. A vivid memory plays of my friends knocking on my door asking if I could play outside and my mother turning them away saying that I was not at home. The perspective of my younger self looking outside the kitchen window wondering what it was like to fully be immersed in that childhood wanderlust. Today, the world is our playground. Every day feels like a new adventure and that childlike wonder still exists within us. This project is all about healing your inner child. Thank you for being part of this lifelong adventure with me. I hope that you never let that childlike spark die and be unapologetically yourself.
