So this is class # 3 in a series of 4. If you missed my other 2 (application/blending and brushes) lmk and I'll get you hooked up ❤ 🔺 First of all it looks like I'm being pretty aggressive with my brush but that's because I sped up the video. You want to handle them as delicately as when you are applying your makeup! 🔻 HOW TO CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES So start by getting your brush wet, work the water into the bristles. Then take a rubber mat (I got off of amazon for cheap! I'll list the link in the comments), apply a dab of baby shampoo on it. Take the brush and go up, down, side to side, and swirl it on the mat. Then rinse the brush and make sure to get all the shampoo out of it. If the bubbles are still colored then I repeat the steps above until all the makeup comes off the brush. If it's been a while since you've washed your brushes you might find yourself doing that a few times. Then very gently squeeze out some of the excess water. Place it on a clean towel. Let it air dry. I wash mine at night so it's all clean in the morning. Suggestions on what soap to use: Baby shampoo Sulfate free shampoo Facial bar Brush cleaning solution HOW TO CLEAN YOUR PERFECTOR SPONGE Get the sponge as wet as possible. Squeeze it a few times while the water is running. Apply some shampoo to your hand and get it a little sudsy (I try not to pour it directly on the sponge because it will take forever to wash out.) Rub the shampoo all over the sponge Put the sponge under running water and squeeze and release until there's no more soap bubbles coming out of the sponge. I suggest washing your brushes at least once a week! Lmk if you have any questions!!
