A Quick Hike For Breathtaking Views of Mount Fuji! [Hakone Day Trip Guide]

Hakone is a popular tourist destination in Japan, about an hour from Tokyo by bullet train. It’s famous for its hot springs and natural beauty, and has a number of great spots to see the iconic Mount Fuji. In this video, we're heading to the summit of Mount Kintoki (also known as Mount Ashigara) to check out its absolutely breathtaking view - not just of Fujisan but also of the overlapping twin calderas that make up Hakone, and the wider landscape. The hike itself isn't very long - you can do a loop from the main trailhead in about three hours, but in this video I'm going to take you on a detour on the way back down in order to visit an onsen called Fuji Hakkei which has both indoor and outdoor bathing areas, and an incredible Fuji view to go along with them!
