Miniature jars are the subject of this week's video, from throwing the components, trimming them all to fit, bisque firing them, waxing them, glazing them and finally reduction firing the tiny vessels to 1290ºC. Phew. Hopefully this video, with all its sped-up segments, give you a good idea of all the sheer repetition there is when creating pottery like this. It's all worth it though, as these are some of my favourite pots I've made in a while. That you won't get the same results as I do if you're firing in oxidation.
