On the surface, this is a classic Land Rover Series 2A 88. Underneath, it’s been completely re-engineered for modern performance, reliability, and everyday drivability. In this walkaround, we break down one of our most refined Series IIA builds — featuring a GM LS3 6.2L V8, six-speed automatic transmission, custom coil-sprung chassis, disc brakes, power steering, and our signature modern drivetrain package. Every system has been redesigned to deliver the iconic vintage look with true modern usability. This custom Series IIA 88 is finished in Woodcoat Green metallic (inspired by Range Rover heritage colors), paired with limestone steel wheels, galvanized accents, and a handcrafted baseball glove tan leather interior built in-house at our Charleston, South Carolina facility. Each HIMALAYA build is designed around the client’s lifestyle and mission — whether that means family adventures, daily driving, long-distance touring, or off-road capability. This vehicle is destined for international delivery and showcases what’s possible when heritage design meets modern engineering.
