This is a song from an community singing album that was recorded on April 11, 2021 on the sdukʷalbixʷ/Snoqualmie + sduhubš/Snohomish People’s land. This song came through post grief ritual where several of us were grieving lack of mentorship in our lives, lack of in-tact culture, a sense of cultural orphanage & longing for village and connection.
