If Beliefs Aren't A Choice, How Can We Criticise Them?

This video was prompted by a very confident comment under one of my videos. The claim was basically this: “If you call a belief or doctrine immoral, then belief must be a choice — otherwise your argument collapses.” It sounds punchy. It also collapses immediately once you slow it down. So rather than match the tone, I walk through why that objection doesn’t work, why moral criticism of ideas doesn’t depend on belief being chosen, and why people keep confusing influence with control. Beliefs don’t have to be voluntary to be dangerous. And pointing that out doesn’t create a contradiction — it exposes one.
