Carnival Elation to Cabo San Lucas 06/08

I hope you enjoy the memories of the Carnival Cruise "Fun" Ship, the Elation. We left San Diego on June 14, 2008. Had a fun day at sea. June 16 we arrived at Cabo San Lucas Mexico. Our excursion was the Ecological Snorkeling Adventure at the Sea of Cortez, at Santa Maria Bay and Chileno Bay. This video is about those events. Just for fun, here's a little about our first day activities. Arriving in San Diego we quickly off loaded our baggage and parked our car in the Cruise Ship parking. Embarking was very quick and before we knew it we were on the Ledo Deck having a very delicious lunch. The Ice Cream machine was readily available 24 hours a day and made for a nice cool treat for us after lunch. Our stateroom was ready at 1:30 and we met our room steward. What a delight he was, learning all about the ship and he always met us with a smile. We had the Lifeboat drill at 3:15 and were on our way at 4:00. Our seating for formal dinning was at 6:00 followed by the welcome aboard show at the Mikado Lounge. Next day, "Fun day at Sea." The title says it all.
