It's finally done! One of the my favorite it not THE favorite of the entirety of EPIC! I hope I did it justice! To explain a few things: Originally Tiresias was going to be a skeleton, cause skeletons are cool! But a few weeks ago I thought about how in Greek Mythos they gave the dead a sacrifice, like an animal, to communicate with them-and then the idea of Tiresias using a dead ram as a physical body popped up and I couldn't say no to that! I gotta be known as the weird Epic animatic maker! And to explain the video (some of it's obvious but let me ramble); in the first chorus I had Tiresias focus on the past since he said he sees both it and the future. For "songs of past romance" I chose Helen of Troy and Paris. For "sacrifice of man" it's Odysseus dropping the baby, for "portrayals of betrayal" I chose Ithgenia being killed by her father-yes I know I use it a lot but I'm a big fan of her-and for "brother's final stand" I WANTED to use someone who died in the Trojan War but according to my friend Ody didn't care about anyone who died there so I just stuck with the safe bet of Polites. And yes Tiresias and Ody waltz in reference to the live stream where their VAs did a spontaneous waltz. I had a hard time picking how to portray "the man who is haunting" segment but I decided on showing glimpses of Ody's wolf form; "A man" a silhouette behind Penelope that is not man shaped. "with a trail" show blood on his claws as if he had been walking in a trail of blood. "Of bodies" as he licks her, you can see an arm and eye hanging from his mouth. I don't think I need to explain the final chorus lol.
