Auditory psychophysics using Python and Psychopy - (Video 1 Creating Sound Stimulus)

In this series we will make a python program to conduct an auditory psychophysics experiment.To do these experiments we will also use psychopy to control what the subjects sees and to control the sound stimulus. We will base our experiments very loosely on a research paper by Tan et al. (2008) (doi: 10.1016/j.heares.2008.04.003) for which I was a participant. In this video we make a brief tone-pip at 1000 Hz (sine) for 250ms with a 10ms rise/fall time. This stimulus will appear later on as our probe (the stimulus our subject is trying to hear). Disclaimer. This is not designed to be a complete python programming course, however it will be necessary to touch on different aspects of python programming as we learn to generate and create a psychophysics experiment.
