Scottish football heroes turn out for Jimmy Calderwood funeral as cortege passes Ibrox

A HOST of Jimmy Calderwood's friends and colleagues have paid their final respects to the legendary Scottish football boss - with the cortege given an emotional send off as it passed Ibrox stadium. Calderwood - who died aged 69 after a battle with dementia - was best known for his time managing Dunfermline, Aberdeen and Kilmarnock. But he was born in Govan and a lifelong Rangers fan all his days. And there were emotional scenes as the convoy was met with applause outside the gates of the famous Govan stadium. Among those in attendance were his former Aberdeen chairman Stewart Milne, plus former Dons stars Russell Anderson, Lee Miller, Richard Foster and Richie Byrne.
