With the robots on the bridge dealt with, and Private Armstrong rescued you need to deal with the Flare Pool clamps. To de-activate all three you need to power up the two Charge Amplifier stations. The first one is pretty easy, but the second is a bit more of a challenge. When you get in and Ball Boost, it doesn't do anything and Armstrong says that you must be missing something. The solution is a hatch that lets you down under the Charge Amplifier to turn it on, using a Morph Ball puzzle that is a little more challenging than anything you will have done previously.
