Was It Worth It? Big Silver Jewellery Haul!

I took a gamble on a 1Kg jewellery lot with potentially a lot of silver, along with a further 2.5Kg of jewellery and my first two Miriam Haskell pieces! The silver lot was going for more than I would usually spend on jewellery lots and there was only one photo and a short description to go off. However, I decided to take the gamble. To help make the decision of whether to bid-up for it, I estimated the potential silver value to give me a guide. I share how I worked this out (and how you can do the same for any precious metal purchases). As we unbox (or unbag) the items, we'll see if that gamble paid off! We'll go through the other 2.5Kg jewellery lot for the specific item that attracted me to it, along with seeing if there are any other special pieces.
