Calculus Cholecystitis ERCP Balloon Sweeping at SQUARE HOSPITALS LTD. Dhaka Bangladesh

A 40 year's old patient came with Acute calculus cholecystitis. The patient sent for ERCP. ERCP BALLOON SWEEPING performed MRCP WITHOUT CONTRAST Clinical Information: H/O Acute calculus cholecystitis Impression: Findings suggest acute calculus cholecystitis with sludge. Suspected fragments of sludge with in CBD. Procedure : E. R. C. P. with basket &/balloon sweeping Indication: Acute calculus cholecystitis with sludge Medication Under sedation FINDINGS: PAPILLA: A juxtra papillary diverticulum is seen at the papilla. Bile flow PANCREATOGRAM: Not attempted. CHOLANGIOGRAM: The CBD, CHD and the intrahepatic ducts are dilated. Multiple filling defects suggestive of minute stones are seen in the CBD. Papillotomy is done with conventional papillotome. Repeated balloon sweeping of the billiary tree is done and revealed billiary concretions and debris. Gall bladder is well opacified and shows multiple filling defects suggestive with stones. One filling defect is seen in the cystic duct. COMMENTS: Choledocholithiasis with Cholelithiasis (Please see the description also). THERAPEUTIC INERVENTION: Papillotomy and balloon sweeping done. Procedure performed by.....................
