In this video, Dr. Vaishaly Bharambe (VB Anatomy) explains the blood supply of the pons and the clinical lesions affecting it, illustrated through the case of a child with astrocytoma. We start with the arterial supply of the pons (anteromedial, lateral, and posterior zones) and then dive into classical pontine syndromes: Raymond’s syndrome – involvement of abducent nerve and corticospinal tract with contralateral hemiplegia. Millard-Gubler syndrome – facial + abducent nerve lesions with pyramidal tract signs. Cerebello-pontine angle syndrome – acoustic neuroma affecting vestibulocochlear, facial, trigeminal pathways, and cerebellar functions. Pontine hemorrhage and its clinical picture. Childhood pontine tumors (astrocytoma) and how they explain the presented case. This session integrates neuroanatomy, clinical correlations, and applied pathology to help medical students, postgraduate trainees, and clinicians understand pontine lesions in a structured manner. #pontineleisons #pons #mbbs #anatomy #doctors #neuroanatomy #vbanatomy Timestamps: 0:00 – Introduction 0:38 – Case: Astrocytoma of the Pons 2:40 – Blood Supply of the Pons 5:16 – Raymond’s Syndrome 10:31 – Millard-Gubler Syndrome 12:50 – Cerebellopontine Angle (CPA) Syndrome 15:18 – Pontine Hemorrhage 15:56 – Astrocytoma of the Pons 16:29 – Solving the Case (Astrocytoma of the Pons) #ponsanatomy #medicalstudent #medstudent #medico #medicaleducation #medicalcollege Visit Our website: https://vbanatomy.com/ Facebook: / vbanatomy Instagram: / vb_anatomy LinkedIn: / vbanatomy
