Sheila demonstrates an edge stitch technique used for exposed edges which features in many Di Gilpin designs. https://digilpin.com Di often uses this method for edges which remain exposed and won't be stitched up. It can be incorporated into many aspects such as a jacket edge, a sweater neckline, scarf edges to name but a few. The demonstration, using stocking stitch illustrates how this beautiful neat edge is produced by a two stitch pattern either end of a row. It is a mixture of a slip stitch at the beginning of the row and a twisted stitch at the end of the row.
