In this episode of Sessions, Veronique Imbo and Solemn Tattoo collaborate on a stunning Neo-Traditional and Realism back piece. Filmed at the incredible London Tattoo Convention on Tobacco Dock, Veronique Imbo and Sophie, also known as Solemn Tattoo, collaborated on an incredible three-day project. The back piece done for their client was a blend of Realism and Neo-Traditional, who was very specific about the styles but gave the tattooists artistic freedom to create a powerful tattoo collaboration that they could be proud of. Both tattoo artists work at Loveless Tattoo, Veronique's studio based in Montreal. In this episode of Sessions, you can see how their working relationship and the tattoo collaboration is enhanced by their familiarity with each other. Veronique Imbo and Solemn talk about the specifics of setting up a three-day project, especially considering that Neo-Traditional and Realism are quite different styles. Solemn mentions that the drawing was finished weeks in advance so that both artists could work together to create a daily work plan for their time at the convention. Veronique also points out that it's not only the tattoo that needs preparing, it's also the client who needs dedicated care and attention during the process. For hours on end, each day, their client made sure to drink water and to get plenty of rest in between tattoo sessions. Solemn added that they had a special breathing exercise for the client so that she wouldn't get too overwhelmed. Getting a tattoo, especially one over a series of days, can be highly traumatic for the body's immune system, not to mention the physical pain one must endure to get a piece of this magnitude. In the end, it was worth it. Veronique Imbo and Solemn created a romantic Neo-Traditional and Realism back tattoo that the client adored. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Still haven’t subscribed to Tattoodo on YouTube? ►► http://bit.ly/2NEX7F7 SUPPORT US BY LIKING OR COMMENTING ON THE VIDEO AND PRESSING THE SUBSCRIBE BUTTON, SO YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED AS SOON AS WE UPLOAD MORE COOL CONTENT! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ARTISTS : https://www.tattoodo.com/artists/vero... https://www.tattoodo.com/artists/sole...
