Jalebi is a melt-in-the-mouth sweet and can best be described as funnel cakes. It is best for celebrations but can be used as a snack as well. You can make this delicious recipe right in your own kitchen. جلبی مواد لازم: برای خمیر : دو پیاله ( پیمانه ) آرد سفید نیم پیاله ( پیمانه ) ماست (یک ونیم قاشق چای خوری بیکنگ پودر(پودر کیک کمی زعفران آب شدہ و یا رنگ نارنجی غذا به قدر ضرورت آب یک و نیم پیاله ( پیمانه ) یک دانه خریطه پلاستیک زیب دار یا پایپنگ بگ برای شربت جلبی سه پیاله بورہ ( سه پیمانه شکر) نیم قاشق چایخوری پودر ھیل چای کمی زعفران آب شدہ یا رنگ نارنجی غذا به قدر ضرورت یک و نیم پیاله آب یک قاشق چایخوری آب لیمو تازہ Ingredients:- For mixture: 2 cups All purpose flour 1 ½ teaspoon Baking powder 3 drops orange Food Gel color or 1 pinch orange powdered color 1/2 cup Yogurt 1 ½ cup water A piping bag is also needed. For syrup: 3 cups Sugar 1 ½ cup water 1 teaspoon fresh Lemon juice ½ teaspoon Cardamom powder 3 drops orange Food gel color or 1 pinch orange powdered color Directions:- For mixture: In a bowl, mix 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 ½ teaspoon baking powder, (if you use powdered food color, add a pinch now) Add ½ cup yogurt and mix well, and then mix 1 ½ cup of water and orange food color (if you use gel color, add 3 drops now) and the mixture is ready. Leave for 10-15 minutes For sugar syrup: Boil 1 ½ cup water and 3 cups sugar for 7-8 minutes Add 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice , ½ teaspoon green cardamom powder and orange food color (if you use gel color add 3 drops, and of you use powdered color then add a pinch) Let cool to room temperature. After the mixture is left for 10-15 minutes, fill a piping bag with it. Snip off the nip of the piping bag Heat oil in a pan Squeeze the piping bag and make concentric rings in the oil. Either start from inner side towards outside or vice versa. Fry on medium heat until both side are cooked, don't let it turn too dark. Take out from the oil and put it in the bowl of sugar syrup. Let it stay for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes, serve and enjoy!
