The highlight of this day trip was the two historic locomotives: the green SBB Ae 6/6 and the RhB Ge 4/4 II, both in their restored original condition – an impressive journey showcasing the art of historic train craftsmanship! Electric locomotive Ae 6/6 11407 Aargau: A historic Gotthard locomotive with distinctive chrome details, restored by the Mikado 1244 association. Electric locomotive Ge 4/4 II 611 Landquart: The first thyristor-controlled RhB locomotive from 1973, shining in its original green with chrome lettering.
