Jason learned a Scandanavian technique to dislodge windfalls or snags in the forest. He used the International 414 with the Farmi winch to help get the tree on the ground and then brought the logs back to the yard with the Kubota B2601 tractor and the Kranman ATV Logging Trailer. In Sweden, the technique is called "kana pa slana" which means "glide on young, straight tree" such as birch or pine! It was used when heavy equipment wasn't available to pull snags down from surrounding trees and might be a good trick for micro foresters to use.
