Ultrasono case-2 Multiple Pancreatic stone- Chronic pancreatitis- Ascites- Ectopic Left kidney Gall Bladder: Distended with smooth outline. Wall thickness is within normal limit. There is collection is seen in the pericholecystic area. GB could be visualized well through the mid-clavicular line. Porta Hepatis: CBD caliber is within normal limit at his age. No abnormality could be detected within the lumen of the CBD. Portal vein is dilated. Liver: Normal in size shape. Homogeneous parenchymal echo pattern. Intrahepatic biliary channels are not dilated. Intrahepatic vessels appear normal. No evidence of any focal lesion is detected in the liver. Spleen: Normal in size, 10.71 cm, regular in shape with smooth outline, Parenchymal echo appears normal. There is collection of fluid around the spleen Pancreas: Parenchyma appears abnormal hypoechoic and swelling parenchyma with collection of fluid around the pancreas. There is few hyperechoic structure seen within the parenchyma and main pancreatic duct is dilated. 9.8mm KIDNEY, URETER & U. BLADDER Rt kidney: Normal in size, regular in shape with smooth outline. Bipolar length 10.24 cm. Cortex & medulla are well differentiated. Central echo-complex is echogenic and normal. No evidence of any focal/diffuse lesion or calculus is detected. Lt Kidney: Abnormal in position situated in the pelvic region. Normal in size, regular in shape with smooth outline. Bipolar length 7.62 cm. Central echo-complex is echogenic and normal. No evidence of any focal/diffuse lesion or calculus is detected. Ureter: No abnormality could be detected in either of the ureter. Urinary Bladder: Well filled with smooth outline. Wall thickness is within normal limit. No intravesical lesion or calculus is detected. There is free fluid within the peritoneum. Prostate: Normal in size. It shows homogenous echotexture with smooth and intact capsule. COMMENT: Present ultrasound finding suggestive of 1. Multiple Pancreatic stone 2. Chronic pancreatitis 3. Ascites 4. Ectopic Left kidney
