Outlander Project: Beginner 18th Century Stays (Corset) Part 2

Hello I’m Sophie. Welcome to the beginning of my sewing journey, come along with me through all the mistakes and seam ripping! And hopefully feel some solidarity that there are others bumbling their way through this hobby. Follow me on Instagram to see what I’m currently working on-   / andsewitbegins_   This is the fourth video of a series creating a full 18th century outfit, that was inspired by Outlander. Now that the mockup and stay pieces were finished, this is the final video finishing off the stays (18th century corset). I’m using the Simplicity 8162 pattern created by American Duchess to make these, and I’ll be loosely explaining the steps as I go. This video isn't really what I would call a "How To" because I have no idea what I'm doing most of the time, maybe more of a moral support video to those like me. Disclaimer I didn’t bother paying any attention to the instructions that came with the pattern, and instead just constructed them how I have seen and read about them being made.
