A Short Trip to Poulsbo

With my "tour guides," we went on a weekend getaway to the charming Little Norway, called Poulsbo, a city on Liberty Bay in Kitsap County, Washington. Poulsbo is the smallest of the four cities in Kitsap County but is visited often by tourists because of its quaint shops, art galleries, museums, and waterfront restaurants overlooking the marina and waterfront park. In the early years, a large number of Norwegian and other Scandinavian immigrants inhabited Poulsbo because of its similarities to their native countries, hence the city's nicknamed Washington's Little Norway.
