Note: not all three indicators will flash if this is the problem, just the power one, the others being solid. I spent wayyy too much time taking my projector to bits to figure this out, so quick video so you don't have to: check the tabs on the bulb cover, there's a hidden switch in there... The manual doesn't say this either, even though not putting the cover on seems like it would be a common issue.
