You are listening to the output of the HR-MP5, recorded @ 48kHz 24bit through an RME Fireface 800, using a Waves L2 Maximizer in Cubase to dither down to 16 bit. The Youtube audio compression algorithm tops it off. No processing, no eq or limiting; none of that. Just a plain and simple direct recording of the HR-MP5. YAMAHA CS 60 = 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer, 1977 SONY HR-MP5 = multi-fx box, 1994 Some distortion occurred around 20 ~ 22 minutes. Not sure why; input levels of the MP5 looked safe enough. I adjusted input levels on the interface's input, I dialed down the output level of the CS 60, and lowered input levels on the MP5. All sounded fine afterwards - although input level on the MP5 was pretty low at that point. The thing with the MP5 is: jacks are calibrated at -10dB, so these are single ended = unbalanced.
