this is us taking our boat through Great Yarmouth, the tides are very strong around here so you have to plan your journey. Breydon water at high tide is a massive expance of water leading out to sea one way and the southern broads the other. in some cases it can become very rough and to dangerouse to cross. in total im told breydon water reaches 3miles long and a mile wide. once we reached Berney Arms the rise and fall of the tide was really quite something to me as it was the first time i had stayed so close to the sea on the broads.
