This started as a stock Arcade 1up Attack from Mars video pinball cabinet with 10 classic Williams/Bally games running in 720p on a 24" monitor. After realizing I hadn't played any games on my gaming PC for over a year I decided to use it to convert the cabinet to a proper video pinball setup. The stock playfield monitor had no HDMI output so I used an adapter from Amazon. I got the PinOne Mini board and a plunger kit (along with some additional buttons) from Cleveland Software Design. This allowed me to use the stock buttons and plunger with my PC. I installed Pinup Popper as a frontend and got some tables. Playing in 1080p was quite the upgrade. Next up was an Acer 21,5" SB220QBI monitor to replace the static backglass artwork. That enabled me to have a matching backglass for each table. I also removed the back panel around the speakers to fully uncover the 8" second monitor which was physically cropped for the 1up DMD. My most recent upgrade was replacing the stock monitor with a ViewSonic VS2725-2K 27-inch QHD 1440p Monitor with 100Hz. HUGE UPGRADE. Since the stock plexiglass playfield cover was too small for that, I got a nice piece of tempered glass to go over the top. As of now, I am pretty happy with this. Future upgrades will be surround sound feedback and maybe some solenoids.
