Dr. Vinod Karuvarakundu reveals groundbreaking evidence about Kerala's mathematical tradition and its profound contributions to world mathematics. Discover how ancient Indian mathematicians developed infinite series, trigonometric functions, and calculus concepts centuries before their European counterparts. Dr. Karuvarakundu, an expert researcher in Indian mathematical manuscripts, exposes the continuous Guru-Shishya lineage from Varaduji through Madhava to modern times while demonstrating Kerala's systematic scientific methodology. Key Points: Madhava's revolutionary infinite series discoveries predating Newton-Leibniz by 300 years Continuous mathematical tradition preserved through Guru-Shishya Parampara from 5th century onwards Ancient Kerala's integration of mathematics with astronomy, architecture, and practical sciences Unexplored palm leaf manuscripts containing advanced mathematical knowledge Kerala School's systematic methodology including observation, calculation, error correction, and proof Contributions of Aryabhata, Nilakantha Somayaji, Jyeshthadeva, and Vadasseri Parameswaran K.V. Sharma's groundbreaking manuscript research revealing lost mathematical treasures Mathematical concepts embedded in Vedic tradition and Jyotishastra Ancient computational methods including mental calculation and Padi Ganitam Historical misattribution of Indian mathematical discoveries to European scientists About the Speaker: Vinod is a mathematics teacher at Karuvarakundu Govt. Higher Secondary School, Malappuram, Kerala, and has been active in education for over two decades. Former Kerala State President of ABVP (2000–2006) and member of its National Executive, he launched the Save Education Movement in 2010 against textbook distortions. He has authored five books, edited two, and published over 100 articles, including a notable work on Sangamagrama Madhavan, founder of the Kerala School of Mathematics. Vinod has presented papers at national and international seminars, and was part of delegations to the Vishwa Hindi Conferences in Bhopal (2014), Ujjain (2015), and Mauritius (2018). He is a founding member and National Trustee of Bharatiya Bhasha Manch, Dakshin Bharat Coordinator of Shiksha Sanskriti Uthan Nyas, Secretary of Madhava Ganitha Kendra, and serves on India’s National Monitoring Committee for Education.
