Welcome to the brand new Babcock Highschool-Trailblazers Opening 8-8-2022. This is a 2 story high school building. For the 2022-2023 school year, this building will have 9, 10, and 11th grades on the 1st floor and 6, 7, and 8th grades on the 2nd floor. The original Babcock Neighborhood School will have K-5 grades. This high school features: -Computer Lab -Media Room which teaches TV Production, Media Studies, Marketing Essentials, Marketing Application, Graphic Design 1/2, and Yearbook. There is also a green room for making videos. -Maker Room for 3D artwork and woodshop -Art Room -Science Room for Chemistry, Anatomy, and Biology. Classrooms will be on the exterior walls, while Flex Rooms, Interview Rooms, and Huddle Rooms will be in the center of the main floor. Teachers will move from classroom to classroom instead of having their own designated room. There is a Teacher's Lounge on the 1st floor for all the teachers to go to in between classes.
