Lee Bishop recreated the memories from his youth in Tweetsie country in northeastern Tennessee in a small spare bedroom. In this video he tells the story of why he decided to model it in On30 (thanks to Bachmann) and all of the specific details that have made his layout a real tribute to rural life in the 1940's. Lee was the featured speaker at the monthly Zoom gathering of the Olympia, WA branch of the 4th division of the Pacific Northwest Region (4dpnr.com) of the National Model Railroad Association (nmra.org). The meeting was chaired by Greg Wright and the video was edited by Burr Stewart. While his layout is only 5 years old, it has already been featured in Model Railroader and a number of other prominent model railroad publications. When you watch this video you will see why!
