This is the story of women and non-binary artists coming together to Make Waves. --------- In June 2025, Yamaha and SheQ gathered a group of women and non-binary creators for a two-day songwriting camp at Frequency 528 in Kelowna, BC. Surrounded by vineyards, instruments, and a shared spirit of collaboration, artists came together to write, experiment, and create without limits. What emerged was more than music—it was community, mentorship, and the unmistakable energy that happens when artists lift each other up. The camp culminated in a rooftop showcase concert overlooking the Okanagan Valley. As the sky darkened and a summer storm rolled in, the artists took the stage—delivering a powerful performance that felt as electric as the lightning flashing in the distance.
