After several consecutive days of heavy rainfall, flooding continues to affect parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga, disrupting roads, schools, businesses, and travel in some areas. Similar flooding has been reported in Mozambique, highlighting a broader regional weather system. Authorities are urging caution, especially in low-lying areas, as more rain is possible. All this whilst teams remain on high alert in parts of the Eastern Cape after several days of hot, dry and windy conditions fueled wildfires in the region.
