Beach Blast 2017 NAS Oceana Airshow Naval Air Station Oceana Virginia Beach, Virginia Saturday September 16, 2017 http://www.zingeraviation.com This video is made up of three parts and most likely you all would be most interested in the first part! VFA-106 takes the stage in the first part to fly a total of seven passes over Virginia Beach's oceanfront in full afterburner. This is the trademark piece of the Beach Blast, which takes place along the oceanfront by 31st Street in Virginia Beach. There is absolutely no music and no narration to go along with this, only the sounds of the crowd on the beach gathered. The second part features members of Skydive Suffolk exiting from the Short Skyvan jump aircraft and descending upon a secured area of the beach in front of 31st Street. The Black Daggers were to also jump, but the varying low clouds prevented this from happening. Finally, and I apologize for this part as I was positioned too close to the stage, watch airshow announcer Rob Reider introduce the Blue Angels to the crowd.
