Palm Mute Maniac here—diving into Syndrel (succubus commander) on Chaos 9 with a 100-unit cap. Instead of the usual Lemur/Madness cheese, we win with her intended charm mechanic. I show a clean opener using Soul Vein → Furnace for synchronized surges, a couple Lemur Dens just to tag gold mines, then pivot straight into Theater of Chaos rows that siphon entire lanes and attempt a charm each surge. From there we build the engine: Whispering Statue stacks to reduce charm failure chance permanently, Pit of Despair for failure refunds, and succubi to stabilize the frontline while the theaters do the stealing. With Chaos 9’s cap, massing swarms is pointless—so we steal theirs and keep the population advantage. Mid-run I tune economy with Vault of Greed / Well of Souls and keep the surge cadence tight so every Sacrifice auto-charms multiple units. Once charm failure hits 0%, the loop becomes hilarious: the enemy spawns a wave, the theaters siphon, surge pops, and we auto-convert their whole army. I cover placement rules (lane siphons vs diagonals), surge timing, when to sell/relocate statues, and how to survive dwarven flamers and air without over-capping. For the finish, I demo both paths—charm-lock win and the classic demon Tier-5 core nuke—so you can choose style points or speed. If you’ve been leaning on Lemurs, this is the perfect control build to learn: reliable scaling, resource-positive “failures,” and a late-game 100% charm engine that turns their DPS into yours.
