We needed to install a Darkhorse rear valance to Beverly our 24 Mustang GT to make room for her soon to be new AWE Track Quad Exhaust system with 5 inch tips. The valance fit fine, but we discovered some interesting things along the way and had to overcome some challenges! Hopefully you enjoy the show and this helps you if you decide to tackle this project your own way! If you take off the whole rear bumper the taking off and putting on of a new valance would be easier I believe. We did not do that here and just did the valance. If doing it again I would recommend taking the whole rear bumper off, but it can be done without all that as you will see here. #fordperformance #fordmustang #ford #mustang #s650mustang #darkhorse #s650 #mustanggt Current Mod List as of Video: Muscle Car Graphics top & side stripes Gloss Black Linear Designs Premium Automotive Pinstripe - White K&N Dual Intake Air Filters American Muscle Coolant Tank Cover w/ S650 Logo UPR Plug N Play Oil Catch Cans Pedal Commander for 7th Gen Mustang Steeda Progressive springs Steeda Competition Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit Steeda 'Stop The Hop' Ultimate Handling Kit Ford Performance Heavy Duty Half Shaft Upgrade Kit Velgen Classic5 V2 wheels 20x10 in front with 275/35/20 Nittos and 20x11 in the rear with 305/30/20 Nittos Driveshaft Shop 10R80 3.5" Aluminum 1-Piece CV Driveshaft BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop Feral Industries Front Splitter Ultra Tuning Dark Horse Spoiler in Gloss Black Form Lighting LED side markers, rear reflectors, and reverse light Lethal Performance by KOOKS 1-7/8 Competition Headers AWE Track Edition Darkhorse Catback Quad Exhaust Ford OEM Darkhorse Rear Valance Timecodes 00:00 - Intro 01:13 - Thank you to Cottman Transmission and total auto care 01:37 - Tools Needed 01:46 - Removing Rear Valance Undercover Panel 02:07 - Removing 7mm bolts and push pins from bottom of Rear Valance 03:14 - Remove reverse light wire and check parking sensor wires (if equipped) 03:38 - Removing the locking tabs on the GT rear Valance 04:15 - Removing the GT Rear Valance From the Bumper 04:32 - Taking off All Items that will be transferred to the new Darkhorse Rear Valance 05:57 - Attaching the Darkhorse Valance to the Rear Bumper and connecting Sensors 07:31 - GT under panel will not fit the Darkhorse Rear Valance what to do? 09:11 - The solution we came up with 09:53 - Conclusion and future plans with Beverly 11:19 - Ending Disclaimer: Due to factors beyond the control of “The Vehicle Corral”, We cannot guarantee against improper use or unauthorized modifications of this information. “The Vehicle Corral” assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video.
