Hi Friends! Today, I wanted to better explain dermaplaning while showing you what the process involves. This video shows you our "Dermaplane and Glow" treatment at The Parlour while I share with you some basic dermaplaning techniques. I don't recommend dermaplaning yourself (even for a professional). The angles can be very tricky and you risk cutting yourself pretty badly! Dermaplaning is great paired with an enzymatic treatment as you'll see in this video. I used the PCA Skin Enzymatic Treatment in this video. It can be done before a lot of facials including a deep cleansing facial, an Intraceuticals oxygen facial, before laser skin rejuvenation with the Nd:YAG and even before a chemical peel. I personally recommend an LED treatment between the dermaplaning and chemical peel in order to promote skin heeling and minimize the burning sensation during the peel!
