Introducing the Building Automation Systems (BAS) Simulators from iConnect Training

iConnect Training is excited to introduce four new Building Automation Systems (BAS) simulators with curriculum: BL-01, BL-02, PT-201 and PT-181. These four training units allow students to understand a basic building automation controls with an emphasis on HVAC. The main difference between the BL and PT units. The main difference between the two is the additional input and output on the BL-02. The BL-02 comes with a wall setter with temperature and CO2 sensors in a set point slider. The BL-02 also has an electronic actuator with position feedback. The PT-201 uses similar curriculum as the BL-01 and BL-02. However, it's designed as a portable unit and also allows the student to wire the input and output using banana cables. The PT-181 training unit is known as a building automation system in a box. It includes a controller that can mimic a web-enabled building automation head end. It includes the typical devices that are used in a building automation control system such as variable frequency drive, BACnet communicating thermostats, analog actuator and pilot relay.
