We enjoyed a wonderful 8,000 km road trip from home through Scandinavia last May and July. There was still a lot of snow in the northern region. Numerous road damage repairs caused numerous traffic jams. The weather was generally very good, although it was quite cold. What was striking was that all drivers drove very calmly, without pushing. The reason: traffic fines are high and there are thousands of speed cameras throughout the country. The video covers the ferry route from Kiel to Oslo, the road across the Dovrefjell mountain plateau to the west coast, the scenic route along the west coast to the Lofoten Islands, Finnmark, and the North Cape, and the return journey via Finland and Sweden along the Gulf of Bothnia, and finally Denmark.
