First of all, the location is great! Walking distance to the Bund. We were just not aware that there are 3 Ji Hotels in the area and when all the lights were out and we were trying to find our way back, our battery was super drained out, so we asked help from the police and they pointed us to a couple of Ji hotels 😅 that was not our hotel. Google maps does not work in China either. We eventually found our way back by finding this huge Ji hotel across family mart, and the street on the legt side is the right way back. Staff does not speak good English, but they understand to an extent. The amenities were complete, with bedroom slippers in great quality, toiletries and ample towels. The room we was a bit small, but it was alright for a night’s stay. I noticed they did not have bidets in China hotels… so none here. The breakfast buffet is basic but complete with a selection of Chinese and Western food, which includes rice, buns, meat, soup, dumplings, noodles, breads, side dishes, eggs, fruits and yogurt.
