Why WWE Hall of Fame makes Bret Hart SICK | Owen Hart Banned from WWE? (From 2016) #wwe #brethart #wwehalloffame #owenhart 0:00 Bret Hart on Owen Hart in WWE Hall of Fame 0:50 Bret Hart buries Freebirds 2:50 Why Bret Hart hates WWE Hall of Fame, Martha Hart 6:40 Bret Hart on Black world champions 8:47 Bret Hart on backstage interactions in WWE Alfred Konuwa: You have an initiative to get the Hart Foundation in the Hall of Fame, which would ultimately result in the late great Owen Hart getting into the Hall of Fame. Why don't you talk more about that aspect? Bret Hart: Well, I mean, if you look at this year's ... I mean, I'm never going to take anything away from any of the inductees that they've had, but to me the Hall of Fame this year, I have a voice of protest as a sort of legendary figure in the industry. I'm embarrassed that there's so many great wrestlers out there that have never been given their credit, never got their due. Rick Rude. There's a guy that definitely should be in the Hall of Fame. The Rougeau Brothers, the Demolition, but more importantly, I think the Hart Foundation. Why have they been overlooked? When you can induct the Freebirds, who never did squat in WWE ever, never drew any money, never did anything. When I remember The Freebirds, they were all drunk and passed out at the gate at one of the airports my first day in WWF. None of them even made the show that day. They were too drunk to make their plane. They actually had to open the door and make them roll over, and they still never got on the plane. I remember a few weeks later when I was wrestling, I was just starting in WWF, and they showed up at the building about 9:30 in Providence, Rhode Island, and I remember Andre the Giant said, "You guys are fired." I remember Michael Hayes cutting a promo on Andre telling him, "You can't fire me, and who do you think you are? We'll see who's fired tomorrow." I remember Andre said, "We'll see who's fired tomorrow." They were fired. They were gone the next day. Michael Hayes showed up years later as Dok Hendrix and became in the management and all that, and I've always got along with him. But I mean, as far as their contribution to wrestling, give me a break. They were all pill heads and for lack of a better word, they're all screw-ups and never really were professional in any great level. They maybe had lots of talent in some ways, but they never, to me, never carried the ball and ran with it. They maybe did in Texas, but Texas is not WWF. Hart Foundation, Demolition, Rougeau Brothers. I don't think even Rick Martel has been inducted into the Hall of Fame. Then you look at the old legends. They've inducted some of the old legends that are still alive today, and I'm not going to take anything away from any of them. But Sweet Daddy Siki, one of the greatest Black wrestlers in the history of the business, the first Black wrestler to wrestle for the World Championship, just such an amazing wrestling phenomena that's been completely left behind. Nobody has thought to say, "Hey, why is he not in the hall of Fame?" I feel that whoever it is that's been making the decision for the last few years on who goes in the Hall of Fame have done a really lousy job. They're not picking the cream of the crop, they're picking whoever the first person that they see on the list that they go, "He would be easy to fly in," or, "We saw him. Let's bring him in." If you're going to have a Hall of Fame, you got to have Owen Hart in the Hall of Fame. I don't care what anybody says. He's got to be in there. Alfred Konuwa: I don't think anybody would disagree. Bret Hart: Except for his wife. She needs to be psychoanalyzed by herself. She's a psychologist or something today. But she really is so childish and immature and obtuse towards the fans and the people that loved him in the industry. To carry this sort of hate wrestling and hate the people in it and hate the fans that watch it mentality to the point that she refuses to let anyone remember Owen or recognize his contribution or just remember him in good ways like the DVD they came out with. She was so opposed to that and did everything she could do to stop it from being produced and stop it being made. No pictures were given to support it or help it. bret hart wwe hall of fame, bret hart shoot interview, bret hart interview, bret hart wwe return, owen hart wwe hall of fame, bret hart freebirds, andre the giant freebirds, bret hart freebirds, bret hart triple h, bret hart 4/10, bret hart vince mcmahon, bret hart black wwe champions, bret hart owen hart, bret hart martha hart, owen hart tournament, bret hart martha hart, wwe news, bret hart michael p.s. hayes, wrestling news, wrestling news and rumors, wwe, first black wwe champion, vince mcmahon,
