Ludgvan Church is a church dedicated to St Paul. It is found near Penzance in Penwith, Cornwall. The church dates from the 15th century however there has been a church here for much longer and the two ancient crosses in the churchyard show that this site has been used for religious purposes since Early Christianity. When the church was first built, it was dedicated to Saint Ludowanus however is now dedicated to Saint Paul. The South Aisle is newer than the rest of the church and dates from 1840. It replaces a transept and porch. It is said that Ludgvan Church was the last church which conducted services purely in Cornish, however Towednack Church, also in Penwith, also has this claim. Ludgvan Church is part of the Mount's Bay United Benefice which comprises of the churches of Ludgvan Church, St Hilary Church, Marazion Church and Perranuthnoe Church. The church which is part of the castle on St Michael's Mount is not included. The parish of Ludgvan is bordered by the parishes of St Ives, St Erth, St Hilary, Marazion, Penzance, Madron, and Towednack.
