The crew from Burra Country ride the Bass Coast Rail Trail. This trail runs from Anderson to Wonthaggi Victoria and is 16km long. If starting from Woolamai it is about 22km long. There is hope that this trail will eventually be linked from Woolamai to Nyora and adjoin The Great Southern Rail Trail. On this ride we encounter a Lowlands Copperhead Snake which is dangerously venomous. Of course we are riding where the snake lives so it definately gets the right of way. The heat topped out at 35 celsius but the breeze by the sea kept it feeling cooler, remember to drink plenty of water on days like these. Enjoy.
