Priced very competitively, it rivals not only its French and Asian competitors, but also its German sisters, the Polo and Ibiza. With 1.0 litre engine, it can be quite slow in the naturally aspirated version (75bhp) but upgrade to the 95bhp or 110bhp turbo version, and it's quite spritely! Skoda is known for being the peoples car, but also for being fantastically practical. With a larger boot that the Polo, 3 isofix points and storage everywhere you look, it certainly is worth considering to any young driver or families.
